Women don't need empowerment. They need to be in power. Currently, 100 percent of a racially-diverse, gender-fluid population is governed by a group that is made up of 70 percent cis-white-men and if you've scrolled through social media for more than five seconds in the past 6-months you'll understand why that isn't going so well for anyone. So how to we create a more inclusive and diverse government? We run for office.
