Inside the bubble of the outdoor industry, climate change science is a very real, and scary threat to our way of life. It's something that we as a community rally behind because we want our grandchildren to experience skiing, or we want to preserve our favorite places. But outside the bubble is the world where climate change deniers have much to gain and those who live on the fringes of society have everything to lose.

Bitch Magazine writer Joshunda Sanders explores the unequal burden of climate change on the world's poorest communities, particularly women, who lack access to capital and credit while facing being pushed out of their homes by "climate gentrification" of neighborhoods.
